In this class we will start with understanding the basics to get you on your way to mastering the art of sewing! Through the zipper bag project we will be learning to sew straight lines and how to insert a zipper. Materials for the project are bundled in a $15 kit available for purchase in the Ukiah store, but you will need to bring your own tools: a sewing machine, pins, scissors and possibly a seam ripper and notebook.
You are more than welcome to bring your own lunch, as this class could go over 4 hours.

Class Fee: $10 to reserve your spot and a $40 fee to be paid to the instructor. This must be given in person to the cashier at Village Sewing at the time you sign up at which time you will be given a receipt and a Supply List. The fee will be held until the date of the class. It is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the class or if you do not attend the class without notification. Exception: if your place is filled by someone on the waiting list
