The Bernina 1/4" Patchwork Foot #37D is designed for straight-stitch piecing, making it the go-to presser foot for quilters and patchwork sewists using 9 mm Bernina machines with Dual Feed. It sews accurate 1/4" (6 mm) or 1/8" (3 mm) seam allowances, two of the most common measurements in quilt piecing.
Three evenly spaced markings on the side of the foot (each 1/4" apart) help you line up fabric pieces for exact insertion. The narrow groove on the flat underside acts as a thread channel, keeping stitches smooth and reducing thread buildup under the sole.
