If you are wanting to start making quilts or have just started and you want to learn more – THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU! It is a two day class, two Saturdays in a row. We are starting from “Square 1” - The first day we will be discussing your sewing machine, supplies needed for quilt making, (yes different then clothing), constructing quilts, basic color theory, fabric choices, and so much more – as tips of the trade. Towards the end of the day, you will be choosing your fabrics needed for the Pillow Case you will be making the next Saturday, sample shown. This is a very informative set of classes and will start you on your way of making those beautiful quilts you have been seeing and maybe thinking “I can do that” – Guess what, you’re on your way to doing that! The future of quilting is in your hands . . . . .
2-Day Class: Saturdays – May 9th and May 16th 10:30 to 4:00
The $10.00 Village Sewing Deposit holds your spot for the class and can be paid by phone or in person. The $80.00 Instructors Class Fee must be paid in person at the Santa Rosa store prior to the class. This fee can be cash, (preferred and you will be given a receipt), or
a check made out to the instructor, Barbara Derringer. When this is done, you will receive a class supply list which you will need for the class. The class fee will be held until the date of the class. It is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the class or if you do not attend the class without notification. Exception: if your place is filled by someone on the waiting list . The VSC $10.00 fee is non-refundable. When you sign up, please ask for a supply list if you are not given one.
