In this beginner-friendly class, you'll recieve step-by-step instructions to make five different sizes of nesting baskets. You'll complete two baskets, and you choose the sizes you'd like to make.
Equipment Needed:
Sewing Machine in working order, with power cord and foot control.
Basic Sewing Kit (pins or clips, scissors, rotary cutter, seam ripper, bobbins, ruler, or tape measure)
Supplies List:
Outer fabric for the two baskets you will make (select your size)
4.5" x 5" x 5" - 1/3 yard or 2 fat quarters
6" x 6" x 7" - 1/2 yard
7" x 7" x 8" - 1/2 yard
8" x 8" x 9" - 1/2 yard
10" x 10" x 10" -3/4 yard
Complementry fabric for the lining - same yardage as outer fabric
Interfacing - same yardage as the outer fabric - it will depend on how soft or stiff you'd like your basket. (Pellon TP971F for softer feel) (Pellon 926 for stiffer)
