Beginning Sewing Series - Class 2

Make a gift and learn more about the upcoming Beginning Sewing Series that is coming to Village Sewing Center for 2025. 

Our project is going to be a pillowcase. This is an easy project that you should be able to finish during class. A great gift idea. 

During this class you will be learning basic sewing terminology, how to set up your sewing machine, how to make a French seam, how to do the "burrito roll" so that the interior of your pillow is finished and more. 

Your instructor will be Janice Langan. Janice is a Certified Palmer/Pletsch Sewing and Serger Instructor with over 30 years' experience. Her goal this coming year is to bring you easy projects that will teach you different sewing skills while having fun and having someone right there to help you. 

Class Fee: $10 deposit online, $40 cash or check instructor fee. This must be given in person to the cashier at Village Sewing at the time you sign up at which time you will be given a receipt and a Supply List. The fee will be held until the date of the class. It is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the class or if you do not attend the class without notification. Exception: if your place is filled by someone on the waiting list.
